Things were nothing less than a Carnival at Caravela...!

It has been a month since my last visit to Goa. I was there for almost 5-days, and how I wished that these 5 days should never come to an end. Goa offers everything that you want to experience. Be it soaking yourself at the beach, or hiking, or about going to the top of the forts. The famous of all of them maybe where the movie “Dil Chahta Hai” was shot, Fort Aguada, or just roam around the flea market.  But this time I was there for complete relaxation. Relaxation to the level of utmost luxury.

With the wide range of Goa hotel packages available online, it became interestingly easier for me to book an accommodation for myself. Rather I should say a luxurious accommodation for myself. For that, I chose none other than the Caravela beach resort. The moment I came out of the airport, I could see somebody waiting for me at the airport, with a placard of my name, assigned by the Caravela beach resort. I already felt like a princess! I was just waiting for the rest of the things to follow.

The moment I entered the resort, I knew I made the right choice in terms of my accommodation. I could clearly say that this hotel definitely ranked among the top one for the list of luxury hotels in Goa.

Next was, my room! It was the epitome of luxury, comfort and chivalry. I could not have asked for a better room at this price. My every penny had been put to its utmost value. After a nice shower and a nap, I literally had to push myself out of the really comfortable room and see what the things outside the hotel had to offer. I immediately gushed myself into the salty waters of Varca beach that were right outside the hotel. Varca beach is really beautiful and serene. It is actually considered one of the most beautiful beaches in South Goa. I was lucky enough to see the sunset at the beach. The colours that were brought out while the Sun was making its way to the downward direction, and becoming one with the sea at the horizon while sinking itself into it, seemed just the shades which had never been produced before.

With a few days here and there around my resort, I strictly came back to my motive of this Goa visit; that was relaxation. I wound up my vacation with an enchanting spa session.

The utmost relaxing spa session, the amazing hospitality at the Caravela beach resort would always make me reminisce about this particular Goa stay.

A luxurious getaway

An indulgent and luxurious trip to Goa had been a part of my travel bucket list for as long as I could remember and I finally decided to take the plunge last year and make it happen. New Year’s Eve seemed like the perfect time to experience the beauty of the state and stay at any of the numerous 5 star beach resorts in Goa

Resorts in Goa
I wanted to stay in the southern part of the state and wished to stay at a resort that would give me easy access to the beach, a spa, incredible food and provide me with an overall luxurious and relaxing experience. I asked my friends for recommendations on resorts in south Goa and decided to stay at the Caravela Beach Resort which was highly recommended by a close friend.

I can happily say that I was not disappointed with my experience and was in fact extremely happy with my decision. My stay, which lasted for a week, was everything that I wanted it to be and more. I came back refreshed and rejuvenated. The food at the resort was delicious and the property itself was absolutely stunning. My favourite spot was Castaways, the poolside alfresco area where I indulged quite often. My room was decadent and beautiful and the staff was extremely helpful and courteous. The local attractions that I visited and the festive spirit of the New Year only added to my experience.

Overall, it was a highly enjoyable trip!

Get Ready To Experience Best Spa in Goa

Amidst the fun and frolic of your holiday stay at the beaches of Goa, you might want to consider taking a rejuvenating message that will help you relax, revitalise and energize.

Those who have never tried a spa treatment before are often apprehensive about what should they wear, what to carry, will it be worth the money spent, etc.

Below I have prepared a list of items that you should take with you to a spa facility.

Robe and/or slippers: Many spas offer complimentary robe however, you can use your own if you prefer.

Slippers. Travel light and prefer light and comfortable slippers to shoes or boots.

Towels: Again, most spas will supply towels to their customers but you can carry your own too.

Flip flops: this is a better choice than slippers as slippers can get sloggy when wet and you might be sending time near a pool area.

A change of clothes: it would be a better idea if

A sweater/jacket: will be needed if you feel a pang of chill after the treatment.

Gym wear: if you want to use the spa’s fitness centre.

Swim suit: if you plan to make use of the pool and Jacuzzi of the spa.

Toiletries: While you’ll certainly be pampered with deluxe products during your spa visit, you might like to pack some personal toiletries (toothbrush, deodorant, makeup etc.) to use before you leave

Sunscreen: only if your spa is at an outdoor pool.

Something to read: make sure you have a book or a magazine to read while you are waiting for your turn.

There are many luxury resorts in Goa. Most of them have spa facility.

The peak season in Goa is from November to February, but as Holi commences, the beaches get emptier, and the shacks lonelier, and you are rewarded with a kind of solitary vacation that brings you peace. Maybe it’s exactly what you’ve been searching for?

Luxury resorts at your fingertips

Now during the peak season, consider yourself lucky if you get a reservation at a luxury resort, especially one with a private beach, but hey! It’s March! And almost all the hotels in Goa near the beach are waiting to host you for a fabulous holiday.

Crowded beaches crowded no more

Yes, typically everybody heads to Goa during the winter months for some sun and warmth, as if it’s nature’s migratory instincts taking over. But spring is in the air, and the weather in Goa has hardly changed, which makes it perfect for a holiday, especially because the crowds of the peak season has left the beaches empty and inviting.

Budget options

Who said Goa is exorbitant? They have definitely not visited this grand place in March. The prices drop off quite a bit and make it one of the most luxurious and affordable destinations to spend your spring break.

Take a ride on a motorbike

Goa is all about the bike rides and you can hire two-wheelers almost everywhere to take a trip to the local sightseeing venues as well as the natural wonders a little far off. Besides, who doesn’t want an awesome holiday ride along the coast?
