Treat yourself with water adventures in goa this summer

From warm sandy beaches and flea markets to religious shrines and cubs, Goa has it all. In the blog here, I will give readers a brief overview of the adventure sports activities, especially water-sports activities that are available in Goa. So buckle your seatbelts and get ready to soar.

Windsurfing:  Windsurfing is a unique blend of surfing and sailing. Enjoy the thrill as you ride the sea waves in the direction of the wind.

Scuba Diving: Delve deep into the clear waters of Arabian sea to explore the coral reefs and the wide variety of sea life it harbors. It is a mild adventure activity that you are guaranteed to enjoy.

Kayaking: the perfect water sport to enjoy during monsoon season, kayaking is a calm, exploration sport, ideal for those who want to spend their time paddling along the mangrove-fringed backwater bays.

Whitewater rafting: More thrilling than scuba diving, white water rafting can be enjoyed on the Mandovi river. Feel the thrill as the winds sweep your hair and river water sprinkle down on you.

Banana Tube boat riding: a favorite amongst tourists, the banana tube ride is a fun activity you can enjoy with your friends. Feel the waves rippling under you as you try your best to avoid tripping over your ride and landing into the deep blue sea.

Many of these water sports are offered by tour operators in Goa in a package along with hotels and sightseeing. There are a number of fine beach hotels in Goa to choose from.

Get Ready To Experience Best Spa in Goa

Amidst the fun and frolic of your holiday stay at the beaches of Goa, you might want to consider taking a rejuvenating message that will help you relax, revitalise and energize.

Those who have never tried a spa treatment before are often apprehensive about what should they wear, what to carry, will it be worth the money spent, etc.

Below I have prepared a list of items that you should take with you to a spa facility.

Robe and/or slippers: Many spas offer complimentary robe however, you can use your own if you prefer.

Slippers. Travel light and prefer light and comfortable slippers to shoes or boots.

Towels: Again, most spas will supply towels to their customers but you can carry your own too.

Flip flops: this is a better choice than slippers as slippers can get sloggy when wet and you might be sending time near a pool area.

A change of clothes: it would be a better idea if

A sweater/jacket: will be needed if you feel a pang of chill after the treatment.

Gym wear: if you want to use the spa’s fitness centre.

Swim suit: if you plan to make use of the pool and Jacuzzi of the spa.

Toiletries: While you’ll certainly be pampered with deluxe products during your spa visit, you might like to pack some personal toiletries (toothbrush, deodorant, makeup etc.) to use before you leave

Sunscreen: only if your spa is at an outdoor pool.

Something to read: make sure you have a book or a magazine to read while you are waiting for your turn.

There are many luxury resorts in Goa. Most of them have spa facility.

The magic of being offseason

The peak season in Goa is from November to February, but as Holi commences, the beaches get emptier, and the shacks lonelier, and you are rewarded with a kind of solitary vacation that brings you peace. Maybe it’s exactly what you’ve been searching for?

Luxury resorts at your fingertips

Now during the peak season, consider yourself lucky if you get a reservation at a luxury resort, especially one with a private beach, but hey! It’s March! And almost all the hotels in Goa near the beach are waiting to host you for a fabulous holiday.

Crowded beaches crowded no more

Yes, typically everybody heads to Goa during the winter months for some sun and warmth, as if it’s nature’s migratory instincts taking over. But spring is in the air, and the weather in Goa has hardly changed, which makes it perfect for a holiday, especially because the crowds of the peak season has left the beaches empty and inviting.

Budget options

Who said Goa is exorbitant? They have definitely not visited this grand place in March. The prices drop off quite a bit and make it one of the most luxurious and affordable destinations to spend your spring break.

Take a ride on a motorbike

Goa is all about the bike rides and you can hire two-wheelers almost everywhere to take a trip to the local sightseeing venues as well as the natural wonders a little far off. Besides, who doesn’t want an awesome holiday ride along the coast?

Goa has much to offer for all the tourists who make it their holiday destination and March may just be the perfect time to visit. From affordability to perfect weather, you can experience one of the most memorable vacations that keep you coming back for more.
